Overview
This document provides templates for status updates in Skype's plain text format, following the four-session structure:
- Session 1: 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM
- Session 2: 11:30 AM to 01:15 PM
- Session 3: 02:00 PM to 04:30 PM
- Session 4: 04:45 PM to 07:00 PM
Status Update Schedule
Team members must provide status updates twice daily:
- After Session 2 (01:15 PM)
- After Session 4 (07:00 PM)
Session 2 Update Guidelines (01:15 PM)
1. Tasks Completed (Morning Sessions)
- List specific tasks completed in Session 1 and 2
- Include percentage of completion for ongoing tasks
- Mention any deliverables created/submitted
- Specify time spent on each task
2. Blockers/Challenges
- Highlight any impediments faced
- Specify support needed, if any
- List pending dependencies from other teams/members
3. Plan for Sessions 3 & 4
- Tasks planned for afternoon
- Expected deliverables
- Meetings/collaborations scheduled
Session 4 Update Guidelines (07:00 PM)
1. Daily Achievement Summary
- All completed tasks across all 4 sessions
- Key milestones reached
- Deliverables submitted/reviewed
- Total time spent on each task
2. Pending Items
- Tasks carried forward to next day
- Reason for pending items
- Updated timeline for completion
3. Next Day Planning
- Priority tasks for tomorrow
- Required support/resources
- Upcoming deadlines or deliverables
Format Guidelines
- Use this consistent template for all updates
- Be specific with task names and project references
- Include time spent on each major task
- Highlight critical updates or urgent items
- Keep it concise but informative
- Use bullet points for better readability
- Include relevant ticket/task IDs

Best Practices
- Consistency: Always use the same format for better readability
- Timing: Submit updates promptly at 1:15 PM and 7:00 PM
- Clarity: Keep descriptions concise but informative
- References: Always include task/ticket IDs when applicable
- Details: Provide specific time spent on tasks
- Blockers: Clearly state what support is needed
- Plans: Be specific about next steps and timelines
