Machinery Supervisor

New Machinery Onboarding

  • Conduct initial inspection and documentation of new machinery
  • Handover the bill book and provide comprehensive guidance
  • Train owners on using the OX Agry app for booking, fuel entry, and other functions

Timely Arrival at Customer Location

  • Ensure the assigned vehicle reaches the customer's field on schedule
  • If there is a delay, immediately follow up with the operator and instruct them to reach the field without further delay

Work Quality Assurance

  • Maintain a high standard of service quality for farmers
  • Address any customer complaints related to service quality by personally visiting the field, identifying the issue, and resolving it
  • Escalate matters to higher management if required
  • Conduct random quality checks at work sites
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback for continuous improvement

Operator Management

  • Ensure operators report to the office on time and depart to customer locations as per schedule
  • Approve operator leave requests as the first level of approval; HR must clear the second level
  • Ensure operators adhere to the dress code and safety protocols
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching
  • Organize periodic training sessions for skill enhancement

Machinery & Implement Maintenance

  • Ensure all machinery and implements are properly maintained, and in good working condition
  • Monitor service due dates and schedule timely maintenance for each machinery
  • Ensure operators conduct daily pre-operation machinery checks
  • Maintain detailed service records for each piece of spare equipment
  • Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns

Inventory Management

  • Ensure the availability of critical spare parts, tools, and lubricants necessary for operations
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation

Team Coordination

  • Address and resolve any internal issues related to machine handling or allocation among team members
  • Facilitate effective communication between field teams and office staff
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss operational challenges
  • Coordinate with other departments for seamless operations

Documentation and Reporting

  • Ensure all relevant sheets and records are updated accurately and on time
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
  • Document incidents, breakdowns, and resolution actions
  • Maintain digital and physical records of all machinery-related transactions
  • Prepare analytics on machinery utilization and efficiency

Emergency Response

  • Develop and implement protocols for machinery breakdowns in the field
  • Coordinate rapid response for repairs or replacement equipment
  • Maintain emergency contact information for all stakeholders
  • Document all emergency incidents for future reference

Cost Management

  • Monitor fuel consumption and identify optimization opportunities
  • Track maintenance costs against budgets
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality
  • Prepare cost analysis reports for management review
