Operations Coordinator - Business Development

1. Customer Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Identify and approach potential customers (farmers) in assigned areas through targeted outreach
  • Conduct detailed demonstrations of OX Agry services and technology to prospective customers
  • Educate customers about our complete range of company products and services (machinery rental, agri-inputs, advisory services)
  • Guide new customers through the entire onboarding journey with personalized support
  • Verify customer documentation and field boundaries through physical visits
  • Implement a structured follow-up system for newly onboarded customers to ensure adoption
  • Create and maintain detailed customer profiles with land holdings, crop patterns, and service requirements
  • Organize farmer orientation sessions to maximize app usage and service utilization

2. Booking Management

  • Actively solicit bookings through regular field visits and digital outreach
  • Assist farmers in selecting the appropriate machinery based on their field conditions and requirements
  • Prioritize and schedule bookings efficiently to maximize fleet utilization
  • Track booking status in real-time and provide updates to customers
  • Resolve booking conflicts through effective communication with customers and operations team
  • Implement a systematic post-service feedback collection process
  • Analyze booking patterns to identify peak demand periods and suggest resource allocation
  • Create and maintain a database of recurring booking requirements for proactive outreach

3. Area Coverage & Expansion

  • Develop strategic territory management plans with clear coverage goals
  • Map and segment the assigned territory based on farmer demographics and potential
  • Build and nurture relationships with village leaders, progressive farmers, and agricultural influencers
  • Identify and penetrate untapped markets with customized service offerings
  • Coordinate with local agricultural departments for wider reach
  • Organize and participate in village-level farmer meetings and agricultural events
  • Document market intelligence on competitor activities and pricing in the territory
  • Establish partnerships with local agri-businesses for cross-promotion opportunities

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain a repository of customer success stories for promotional purposes
  • Identify high-value customers and create specialized engagement strategies
  • Proactively address potential service issues before they escalate
  • Educate customers about new agricultural practices that complement our services
  • Organize customer appreciation events and knowledge-sharing sessions
  • Develop personalized service packages for different customer segments

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain digital records of all customer interactions and service delivery metrics
  • Create visual representations of field coverage and booking density for team reviews
  • Document market trends and competitive intelligence from the field
  • Maintain systematic records of customer preferences and seasonal requirements
  • Generate analytical reports on service penetration and customer acquisition costs
  • Track and report key performance indicators like conversion rates and customer retention
  • Document and share best practices from successful customer engagements

6. Coordination with Internal Teams

  • Collaborate with technology teams to provide feedback on app usability from the field
  • Participate in cross-functional planning meetings for new service launches
  • Coordinate with accounts teams for smooth payment collection and reconciliation
  • Provide ground-level insights to the product development team
  • Work closely with marketing teams to localize and implement promotional campaigns
  • Facilitate training programs for machinery operators based on customer feedback

7. Performance Management & Quality Control

  • Set and track measurable targets for customer acquisition and booking conversions
  • Create and implement standard operating procedures for field activities

8. Training & Skill Development

  • Identify skill gaps and training needs among field team members
  • Conduct regular knowledge-sharing sessions on agricultural practices and market trends
  • Develop training modules for new product and service introductions
  • Mentor junior executives in customer engagement techniques
  • Organize peer learning sessions to share successful field strategies
